Meet, Danielle

Nurse at Canberra Intensive Care Unit

Danielle Quiggin

Dani is a permanent Level 2 RN in ICU and currently acting in the CNC role. She has been working in ICU since her clinical placement during her new graduate year in 2010 where she fell in love with ICU nursing. Within the ICU Dani has also been a CDN, with a focus on developing new graduate and transition nurses working in the ICU for the first time.

When not at work you’ll find Dani at home with her fur babies Spyro the bearded dragon and Sasha her cat. She’s also a bit of a foodie, so perhaps she’ll be wining and dining with family or friends. She loves walking in nature, yoga, theatre and dance. She loves to see as many productions as she can and recently began performing herself! She loves travelling particularly SCUBA diving.

Dani is passionate about making the ICU a great place to work; an environment that supports professional learning and growth, whilst providing excellent care to the critically ill, their families and the community. She’s always got a smile and up for a chat so please say hi!
